Damien Hirst

So silly me i didn't realise when I included this sculpture before all wrapped up and being positioned that it was a Damien Hirst piece for the new retrospective at the Tate. Well I do now!
We tootled along yesterday me and the boys after a hard morning of cake decorating courtesy of the lovely Sweetthings Bakery practically next door to us. Thanks Natalie!

This is all the boys own work. We were impressed! I kept saying"This can be a job you know". Anyhow after all the sugar , off we popped to the Tate as you do for a sugar coated pill of a different kind. All the usual suspects were there. Spot paintings, the Pharmacy pieces, the stained glass windows of butterfly wings and the boys favourite the shark in formaldehyde.

Or to give it it's proper title. The Physical Impossibility Of Death In The Mind Of Someone Living. Well he went to Goldsmiths what do you expect!
